Welcome to the Block Report—a blog born from a passion for community advocacy and storytelling. In this first post, I reflect on the journey of creating my website, a project months in the making, and years in the shaping. It started with a simple vision: to share experiences, inspire others, and highlight the work I’ve done to uplift neighborhoods—one crosswalk, repaved street, and streetlight at a time.

With the help of my talented friends (shoutout to Seb, the web designer), we turned rough notepad sketches into a full-fledged site. Along the way, I learned a few key lessons: have a clear vision, build with the right people, and don’t wait for perfection—just start.
