Ladies and gentlemen, here’s to being named one of The City University of New York’s notable alums for its first-ever 50 under 50 in the institution's 177-year history. Congratulations to all the fellow honorees!
Out of hundreds of nominations across 26 institutions, I’m super proud to be included on this list for this historical moment, representing my alma mater, Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College. Thank you to The City University of New York for this prestigious honor.
Long Island Harold: Roadway Improvement Feature
Thank you to the Long Island Herald for highlighting my story about activism and improving my community. The article covers my work over the past four years regarding street improvements and enhancing pedestrian safety to deliver results for long-standing community issues. It is truly an honor to be featured in my hometown paper.
Being able to give back to my community has been one of the highlights of my life. Seeing firsthand how a community is given a fresh look or how pedestrians feel safer using the crosswalk inspires me to continue this work.
Baruch Alumni Magazine
I’m happy to announce that I’ve been featured in Baruch Alumni magazine! It’s an honor to be featured in my alma mater’s magazine along with other alumnus who are improving this world. This issue centers on an important topic that impacts us all: “The Future of the Office.” It's a great read, and I highly recommend checking out the unique perspectives on the topic.
Town of Hempstead: Black History Month Community Service Award
I'm extremely humbled to have received the Town of Hempstead’s Community Service Award for my hamlet during their Black History Month celebration.
Growing up in my community gave me many lessons I still hold dear. My neighborhood also provided me with my life’s passion for restoring communities.
Congratulations to all the honorees recognized at the event. The theme this year for Black History Month is “Black Resilience.” Honoring the spirit to overcome challenges no matter the odds.
